What is Ronnie’s Bar?

Ronnie's Bar is situated above the world-famous Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in the heart of Soho, London. Live music every night of the week ranging from acoustic jazz to Cuban bands, jazz/funk djs, indie, jive nights, poetry slams, soul/r&b, tap jams, samba - we cater to all tastes in the arts! We open at 6pm every evening until 3am and midnight on Sundays most nights with bar, table service, fabulous food and an award-winning cocktail list!

Is there an entry fee?

Yes, there is usually an entry fee although on some nights there is free entry before a certain time. Entry fee changes depending on the night but is usually between £5 and £10.

What are your opening hours?

Mon-Sat 6pm-3am and Sun 6.30-12am (we occasionally open our doors later, this is indicated on the event listing).

We feature all sorts of entertainment from acoustic jazz to Cuban bands, jazz/funk djs, indie, jive nights, poetry slams, soul/r&b, tap jams, samba - we cater to all tastes in the arts!

Every Monday in Ronnie’s Bar features ‘Acoustic Jazz Lounge’ (live jazz music).

Every Tuesday features live unsigned bands in ‘Ruby Sings’ or ’TV Nights’.

Every Wednesday night is the legendary Jazz Jam session run by the Andy Davies Quintet.

Every Friday ‘Viva La Revolucion’ features live Cuban Bands.

Every Saturday Jazz FM DJ’s play the best of jazz/funk and soul in ‘Funky Sensation’.

Can I book a table / get on the guest list?

Yes, if you are a group of 8 or more you can book a table. Latest reservation time is 8pm. There is no charge to reserve, however you will have to pay the usual entry fee upon arrival (depending on the night you are coming). To reserve, please click on the icon on the top right.

Do I need to be a member?

No, but please click here if you are interested in Ronnie Scott’s Membership which gives benefits to both venues.

What kind of food/drinks do you serve?

We serve a full bar menu (please see menu here). We offer a range of cocktails, premium spirits, wines and beers and soft drinks at reasonable prices.

I am a live band and would be interested in performing at Ronnie’s Bar. What do I do?
