Friday nights at Ronnies Bar is fantastic. The best Cuban/Latin music in London. Saw Son de Cuba there two weeks ago. They were BRILLIANT!! Amazing musicians and they had such energy and stage presence. They got everyone dancing. Hope they are back at Ronnies again soon. I loved it!

We went to the Jazz FM night on the 24th, and was disappointed with the music and non soul and jazz crowd in attendence, the place seemed full of tourists who would had been happy dancing if the Djs played Abba or Lady Ga Ga, PY played some nice dance stuff to get the crowd dancing, not sure who was the DJ before him but his set needed cranking up to lift the crowd, I was expecting better music with more of a Jazz feel to it. Didn't stay for the later sets but hope all enjoyed the night.
